Day 12: To Rome
Woke up early to check out this little hike I found on AllTrails.
Took us on some cool little walking paths out of the city.
Started seeing some lemon trees.
No one seems to use these paths. Even some abandoned houses back here.
Very quiet up here. If I ever get to come back to Italy, I’d like to go more rural.
Making our descent to the water.
Kind of has some Mount Fuji feels.
Looks like a swim spot.
Ok, definitely a swim spot.
Andrew Huberman cold plunge protocol.
Little arch over here.
Derek immediately went back to talking about Bill.
Nice little tile markers.
Do they legally have to cut their trees like this or something? Everyone does it.
Peeking back over into Sorrento.
Caught a train to Naples and made these sandwiches outside the grocery store.
Landed at our Airbnb in Rome. Everyone is pretty exhausted. Derek was happy to show off the hike.
But got pretty quiet when I asked about screen time numbers, sorry Quinn!
“A little taste of Rome” is what I heard. But he said home I guess.
Some things cross all cultural boundaries.
A little walk around the river. Our airbnb host blew us up with a 20 minute presentation about Rome. Apparently there is a lot to see here.

For now, Derek and I are going to watch Equalizer 3. Everyone around the Amalfi coast is talking about it, filmed in the area I guess. Please drop in the comments your favorite Denzel Washington movie. Maybe we can turn this into a little movie marathon. Thanks for reading my blog today!
Ciao!
