Day 10: David

Woke up at 6 am to look around the city by bike.

Cappuccino pit stop as I navigate to the closest bike.

Started up a climb.

Kind of like Italian palm trees for those of you who have been to Florida.

Up above the city now. Not sure if there is a max radius on this thing or not.

Has anyone met a Max Radius?

That big dome down there apparently was brand new technology. They built the rest of the building and just had no roof until they developed dome tech. Which is wild because the Romans had built domes early in history but the techniques were lost I guess, similar to the pyramids.

Everyone in line for David. Guess what they are looking at.

This pigeon fight and we’ve got front row seats.

App of the summer!

Derek and I let a bunch of mosquitoes into our room last night because Italians don’t use screened windows. We thought the fourth floor would be above the bug line but god were we wrong.

Man of the hour.

This is a safe, coed blog.

Caught Derek slippin.

And these people.

There was other stuff here but they just piled it in this room.

Lots of great vehicles like this.

My coworker, Steve, has shown me crash tests of similar vans and they just like disappear.

Couple bad boys.

Coffee courtyard.

Courtyard coffee.

I love heavy equipment and, if you read the blog, I bet you do too. I would recommend “how heavy equipment will change your life” by the essential craftsman.

It was a false alarm, fortunately!

Walking to grab some park supplies.

View from the park.

Wait, view from the park.

This was a bummer but maybe it means they see me as a threat, which they should.

Three of these for €1.59.

Park was free because it’s a holiday here.

Nice little pizza pit stop.

I wonder if they are catching anything.

Three mini snacks before our cocktails came out. First thing was similar to falafel and very good.

After spending €65 on drinks, we bought salami, tortellini, pesto, and focaccia for €10 at Pam (Coop competitor) and cooked at the airbnb. Derek and I went on an absolute mosquito killing spree after dinner. Hoping for a bite free night! Thanks for reading my blog post! The engagement in the comments section has been so encouraging. For today, I’d love to hear what kinds of heavy equipment people have been enjoying. And by the way, huge congratulations to Sam and Liam on their engagement!

Ciao!
