Day 6: Bellagio

A little breakfast on the train courtesy of Coop. I’m very excited to see what Italy has to offer in terms of grocery stores.

Transferred trains in this nice town.

We watched this teacher try to send an entire class of two year olds down an escalator at the train station. It went about as poorly as you would expect. They had nothing to hold on to and started toppling over.

These are the old men I picture when I think about Italy.

Derek and I waited an hour in line for ferry tickets, this was a thank you from Jean.

Andy’s contribution, the one Swiss chocolate bar you can buy in America.

Getting the tourist ferry shot!

Everyone over here is drinking Aperol, it’s not bad.

Landing in Bellagio, just a two minute walk to the Airbnb.

View from the balcony.

Finally a good day for the convertibles.

Nice olive pizza.

And a nice couple beers!

The ferry I’ve been talking so much about.

Andy cooling off the feet.

Wow, this was nice!

Derek starts craving pasta carbonara. We found some eventually.

Had some wine and cheese on the balcony after.

Most of the tourists leave at night, not us!

Talks of gelato begin.

Coffee, hazelnut, chocolate, and tiramisu.

Tomorrow is more ferries and trains to get to Venice. Thanks for reading this blog post and please drop in the comments what flavor gelato you would order right now.

Ciao!
