Day 4: The Lost Bag
Woke up at the crack of dawn and wandered around for a bit.
First customer of the day at this bakery.
Sitting on my private balcony in Switzerland dreaming of Berea, KY.
Discussing work travel and car manufacturers with Derek as we walked down to the marina.
This lake froze over in the 60s and it was a massive party.
Nice parks and more swans along the water.
You could live in here.
Maybe someone does.
No holiday here, back to work.
Second coffee below the flat.
A good friend customized some mini Swiss Army knives as wedding favors. I lost the tweezers out of mine a few months back. The kind folks at the victorinox flagship store gave me a free replacement.
Sometimes a cold cut sandwich just hits.
Derek powered down in the first 15 minutes of this guided tour.
Things started getting spicy when they drove the bus onto this ferry.
Then the ferry started across the lake to this mountain.
Then Rolf packed us into this gondola.
Everyone getting forced into some small talk.
Hike over from the gondola. Derek and I took off to avoid the beer line.
The view over here.
And the view over here.
Kind of a deconstructed toilet setup with the foot pedal.
The mascot.
Rolf! A legend!
Reminder to see what Haribo candy they have here.
Comment below if you think Derek should publish his screen time from this trip.
Andy’s bag was lost or stolen. Trying to track it with the airtag. No luck.
Waiting in line for dinner. Yeah, I bought a polka dot umbrella.
Friends of the blog speak highly of this so we gave it a try! It was nice!
I especially enjoyed the bag of steamed potatoes.
Getting some skyrim feels here.
This is a church I guess.
They have a million of these water fountains.

Please post Derek's screen time. Sad to hear about Andy's backpack! The raclette grill is the best way to eat food IMO.
ReplyDeleteI’d love to see that screen time!
